Photographic postcard inscribed by Maurice Chevalier to Alice Rim showing the imposing Empire State Building in New York. The postcard is addressed, from New York, in telegraphic form, to Caro Canaille, pen name of Alice Rim, Carlo's wife: "Première manche - la scène - gagnée - Il reste la TV - épreuve capitale - le 4 Déc. Waldorf Astoria N.Y."] Carlo Rim was a Provençal writer, author of "Ma belle Marseille", a caricaturist, a filmmaker and was notably the friend of Fernandel, Raimu and Marcel Pagnol but also of Max Jacob and André Salmon whom he met in Sanary.
