The fourth leaf of this fragile electoral document features a hagiography of Aristide Bruant, "poet of the outcasts and the wretched," by Michel Morphy.

The manifesto is illustrated with a drawing by Borgey.

Born in Béthune (Pas-de-Calais) in 1777 and deceased in Margency (Val-d'Oise) in 1824, Chevalier Bail began a military career before turning his attention to the moral and political sciences.

This work was entered for the prize awarded by the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres in 1823.

Autograph postcard, dated and signed by Louise de Vilmorin, addressed to her friend Frédéric Fresco with wishes for the festive season.

The recto of the card depicts Louise de Vilmorin's house in Verrières.

The postcard is embellished with a large hand-drawn four-leaf clover framing her message, from which her signature emerges.
