Binding half black morocco with corners, back with four nerves set with golden dots and adorned with double gilded boxes decorated with angles, date and mention "Ex. J. Drouet" gilded tail, marbled paper plates, guards and contreplats of handmade paper, covers and back preserved, gilded head, binding signed René Aussourd.
The preserved back presents some gaps and was reassembled on a strip of paper.
Precious and fun autograph signed by Victor Hugo Juliette Drouet, the great love of his life : "to Madame Juju signed Mr. Toto "
The copy comes from the library of Pierre Duchy. The latter had bought the library of Juliette Drouet en bloc and had entrusted the volumes to René Aussourd to have them connected in a uniform way with the inscription allowing their identification in queue.
Ex-libris glued on a contreplat and a guard.
