Half black sheep binding, smooth spine decorated with gilt fleurons and showing traces of rubbing, marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, corners slightly bumped.
Work illustrated with a frontispiece etching by Armand Rassenfosse, and decorated with illustrations including color plates by Henri Detouche, André des Gachons, Joseph Sattler and Ulm.
