Complete set of Boris Vian's manuscript and working typescripts, genesis of the song "Java mondaine".
- one perforated squared sheet handwritten in blue ballpoint pen by Boris Vian. At the bottom of the sheet, also in Boris Vian's hand, the mention: "Music H. Salvador - Lyrics B. Vian"
- one perforated typewritten sheet, fair copy of the manuscript, on which Boris Vian wrote in the margin the name "Chantal" which he considered to replace that of Hubert in the song. This modification was not retained.
- two other typewritten sheets on tissue paper, one pasted onto cardboard paper
Also included is the sheet music of the song published by Eddy Barclay editions.
This song was performed by Jacqueline François then by Henri Salvador.
