Original drawing dated and signed by Louis Pons, to his friend art critic Georges Raillard, specialist in the works of Joan Miro and Antoni Tapies, which he dedicated to him on the invitation card for the opening of the exhibition of his works at the Château de Vascoeuil on Saturday, March 29, 2008.
Louis Pons drew, in black ink, on the recto and verso, a curious bird: a magpie huddled in on itself and apparently convalescent surmounted by this manuscript dedication: "Paris ? ? Mars 2008, j'espère que ta santé est meilleure. Amitiés de Nelly et Louis Pons." ["Paris ? ? March 2008, I hope your health is better. Friendship from Nelly and Louis Pons."]

Complete autograph manuscript on four perforated sheets, approximately one hundred lines, written in pencil, of the song titled "Cours ta chance" very heavily crossed out and corrected, with the verso of one of the four sheets presenting variants from the final text.
Our collection is completed with a manuscript draft of 16 lines written in blue ink with numerous corrections, additions and crossings out, also providing variants from the final text.
Finally, we include, on two perforated sheets, one of which is pasted on flexible cardboard, two complete typescripts of "Cours ta chance".
Handsome collection of this song which was composed in 1958.

Sir Chantrey, leading portrait sculptor in Regency era Britain, carved the portraits of Major-General Daniel Hoghton, Major-General Bowes, and Colonel Henry Cadogan, and (in a single monument) Major-Generals Gore and Skerrett.
He gives in this letter an estimate for five marble statues of generals from the British army, four of which have ultimately not been selected by the committee and replaced by other names.
