First 12-mo edition, published a year after the extremely rare first edition.
Near contemporary half brown shagreen over marbled paper boards by Grandjean, spine in five compartments with blindruled fillets and double blindruled compartments with a gilt fleuron to centre, small tears to spine of volume 7, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, small insignificant tears to some corners and edges of some covers.
A good copy with practically no spotting in a uniform binding by Grandjean.

The first edition and only printing of this atlas, which has an engraved title (36,5 x 51,5 cm) with a captioned map of Paris in the middle, divided into 72 parts and watercolored in nine different colors to distinguish the different stages of the growth of the city and 72 plates (73 x 51,5 cm) representing the 72 parts making up the overall map of Paris. rare tears, splits or trace of adhesive, without lack.
 
This large map of Paris divided into 72 parts also contains, in the engraving, an “Alphabetic table of streets, dead-ends, passages, squares, ports, markets…” as well as a “Table of distances from specific points of various monuments and a map of the trigonometric workings...

First edition rare, there were no large paper copies.
Spine slightly sunned and warped, one tear, glued down, without lack to foot of a joint otherwise a good copy.

Printed a little bit after the first edition, there were no large paper copies, falsely stated 100ème mille.
