Half hazelnut morocco with corners, spine with five raised bands set with gilt fillets decorated with double gilt compartments richly ornamented and featuring at their centers a mosaic piece of fir green morocco, double gilt fillets framing the marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, one upper corner slightly bumped, the other three more lightly so, top edge gilt. Work illustrated with 70 vignettes, 20 chromolithographs at the end and a plan of the Callistus cemetery. Some foxing affecting essentially the margins and the end of the volume.
