    Original drawing signed in black felt-tip pen heightened with watercolor dated and signed by Carlo Rim depicting his great friend Raimu on his deathbed at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
    The drawing is captioned and signed in blue ink "20 sept. 1946 Carlo Rim" and "hôpital américain" in black felt-tip pen, with a mention "2me volume" inscribed in red felt-tip pen in the lower left corner of the drawing.

    Carlo Rim was a Provençal writer, author of "Ma belle Marseille", a caricaturist, a filmmaker and was notably the friend of Fernandel, Raimu and Marcel Pagnol but also of Max Jacob and André Salmon whom he met in Sanary.

    A small pinhole at the head of the photograph showing all the affection that Carlo Rim had for his venerable friend Tristan Bernard, having certainly hung this postcard in his home.
    The postcard shows Tristan Bernard facing forward with his handsome and imposing beard. On the verso, he added:
    "Le monsieur du verso, c'est évident, c'est sûr... c'est le plus beau...
