Original drawing signed in black felt-tip pen heightened with watercolor dated and signed by Carlo Rim depicting his great friend Raimu on his deathbed at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine. The drawing is captioned and signed in blue ink "20 sept. 1946 Carlo Rim" and "hôpital américain" in black felt-tip pen, with a mention "2me volume" inscribed in red felt-tip pen in the lower left corner of the drawing. Carlo Rim was a Provençal writer, author of "Ma belle Marseille", a caricaturist, a filmmaker and was notably the friend of Fernandel, Raimu and Marcel Pagnol but also of Max Jacob and André Salmon whom he met in Sanary.
