Original drawing signed in black felt-tip pen and heightened in red pencil, by Carlo Rim depicting the portly theater man André Antoine, with a red scarf tied around his neck and a cigarette on his lips. The drawing, captioned in black felt-tip pen "André Antoine", was made on the verso of a sheet containing typewritten text and mounted on cardboard. Carlo Rim was a Provençal writer, author notably of "Ma belle Marseille", a caricaturist, a filmmaker and was notably the friend of Fernandel, Raimu and Marcel Pagnol but also of Max Jacob and André Salmon whom he met in Sanary.
