New edition illustrated with 85 drawings by George Roux. Publisher's Hetzel binding signed Engel known as "au globe" type 4, spine with lighthouse, second cover Engel type "i" according to Jauzac, all edges gilt. Small stains at top of front cover, spine somewhat faded and headcaps slightly depressed, corners somewhat bumped, some foxing, one blue endpaper replaced.
