Beautiful upper plate with gleaming gilt. Traces of discoloration above the world map and small stains at the top of the author's name. Lower corners showing creases. Headcaps rubbed. Under "Jules Verne" inscribed in ink 134. Spine slightly faded. Fine second cover. Stain in right margin of title page beside the title, several numbers written in pen around the title. Fresh paper, almost free of foxing. Overall, a handsome copy in good condition.
