Publisher's full black morocco binding signed Boutigny at foot. Smooth spine decorated with rich Rococo design. Boards stamped with a large blind plate with Rococo motifs, birds and 2 cherubs mounted on griffins, wide gilt border fillet. Edges gilt. Rubbing to lower part of upper board of volume 2, as well as on certain parts of the joints sometimes chipped. One leaf slightly protruding in volume 1, 2 in volume 2.
