Bradel binding in half brown morocco with corners, faded spine with five raised bands set with gilt dots decorated with double gilt compartments richly decorated, date gilt at foot, frame of gilt fillets on pebbled paper boards, combed paper endpapers and pastedowns, covers preserved, light rubbing to corners, binding signed Carayon. Some light foxing affecting essentially the endpapers. Rare. Manuscript signature of the publisher below the edition statement.
