    First edition published anonymously and decorated with original illustrations in red chalk by Joseph Roy, one of 25 numbered copies on Japan paper, the only deluxe copies.
    Bradel binding in half brown morocco with corners, faded spine with five raised bands set with gilt dots decorated with double gilt compartments richly decorated, date gilt at foot, frame of gilt fillets on pebbled paper boards, combed paper endpapers and pastedowns, covers preserved, light rubbing to corners, binding signed Carayon.
    Some light foxing affecting essentially the endpapers.
    Rare.
    Manuscript signature of the publisher below the edition statement.

    Full burgundy morocco binding, spine with 6 raised bands showing two tiny traces of rubbing decorated with gilt fillets, gilt title and collection number at head and foot, minor scratches of no consequence on leading edges and covers, pastedowns lined with burgundy box calf and morocco frame, endpapers lined with burgundy box calf, original wrappers and spine preserved, top edge gilt on deckled edges, binding signed Charles Benoit.
