Huysmans, "La Saignée" by Henry Céard, "L'Affaire du grand 7" by Léon Hennique, "Après la bataille" by Paul Alexis, and of course, "Boule de Suif" by Guy de Maupassant, qualified as a masterpiece by Gustave Flaubert.
