Elegant Bradel half grey cloth over decorated paper boards with abstract motifs by P. Goy & C. Vilaine, spine with title and author's name in palladium, top edge palladium, covers preserved. Autograph inscription dated 1935 and signed by Salvador Dali to his friend the gallerist Georges Wildenstein. Illustrated with 35 reproductions. A very good copy nicely bound.

Two missing paper Length of the second flat, a restored tear Length of the title page, small foxing mainly affecting the first and last pages.
Third edition, first for some parts, 25 poems appearing here for the first time. Pastiche paper Bradel binding by T. Boichot, caramel morocco title-piece, covers and spine preserved. With a frontispiece steel-engraving of Charles Baudelaire. With a notice by Théophile Gautier. This copy bears the date 1869, as often, and is part of the complete works of the poet. Small spotting affecting primarily the first and final leaves, covers with small repairs to margins. A rare copy, nicely bound.

Autograph inscription signed by José Maria de Heredia to Paul L. de Viefville to first volume. This copy is enriched with an autograph letter of one and a half pages from José Maria de Heredia to Paul de Viefville in which he recommends that the latter obtain a copy from Alphonse Lemerre, having no more copies of the work to hand. Tears to upper headpieces. A nicely bound copy.
