In this letter, Henry-Paul Gassier gently mocks his friend Carlo Rim: "Carlo Rim loved rebuses too much... but Carlo Rim didn't know how to translate rebuses..." and "Carlo Rim claims to have gone mad trying to decipher rebuses that H.P.G. had made to test his strength.
