Original signed watercolor addressed to his great friend Carlo Rim depicting, during the Hundred Years' War, two knights in armor conversing peacefully in a plain overlooked by two fortified castles, one of the two questioning the other in these terms: "Do you believe, my dear fellow, that we shall have a winter campaign?" A manuscript note in blue pencil in the lower right corner of the watercolor: 2 vol., the watercolor is mounted on blue-gray cardboard. Carlo Rim was a Provençal writer, author of "Ma belle Marseille", a caricaturist, a filmmaker and was notably the friend of Fernandel, Raimu and Marcel Pagnol but also of Max Jacob and André Salmon whom he met in Sanary.
