Original drawing in black ink heightened depicting, in the upper left corner, the statue of Antoninus Pius located in the center of the Antonin square in Nîmes and, in the lower right corner, the famous Maison carrée, one of the principal monuments of the city of Nîmes. Provenance: from the Carlo Rim collection, friend of Henry-Paul Gassier, who was a Provençal writer author notably of "Ma belle Marseille", a caricaturist, a filmmaker and was notably the friend of Fernandel, Raimu and Marcel Pagnol but also of Max Jacob and André Salmon whom he met in Sanary.
