Edition limited to 150 numbered copies on wove paper, illustrated with 32 magnificent original colour compositions by Paul Jouve: one on the wrappers, 13 full-page illustrations, 12 headpieces and 6 tailpieces.

The work is further embellished with 25 decorative initials designed by François-Louis Schmied.

Our copy is housed in the publisher's original paper-covered board slipcase, lined with rice paper, and matching vellum-style board portfolio with ties.

Minor splits to the head and foot of the slipcase.
