Top spine-end slightly rubbed. De la Terre à la Lune, trajet direct en 97 heures 20 minutes is a novel of anticipation. It relates how, after the end of the Civil War, an association of artillerymen and scientists linked to the military industry attempt to send a shell manned by three men to the moon. De la terre à la lune is the first part of a diptych, which ends with Autour de la Lune. A beautiful copy.
