Half fir-green shagreen bindings, spines with four raised bands decorated with double blind-stamped compartments enhanced with gilt typographical motifs, quintuple fillets and cartouches framing the green paper boards, moiré paper endpapers and pastedowns, all edges gilt, contemporary bindings. Work illustrated with Hadamard's lithographs printed in two tones.
