Full red morocco binding, spine with four raised bands studded with black dots and decorated with triple compartments (two gilt and one black), covers framed with triple gilt fillets and a black morocco fillet, marbled paper endpapers and pastedowns, pastedowns decorated at corners with stylized gilt floral motifs enhanced with brown mosaic morocco pieces forming their petals, covers and spine preserved, all edges gilt, red morocco-edged slipcase, marbled paper boards, white felt lining, elegant contemporary binding dated 1903 and signed Meunier.
A very handsome copy superbly executed.
