This photograph was taken on April 22, 1953, during the award ceremony of the Grand Officier de la Légion d'Honneur.
On the reverse, a humorous autograph inscription by the writer: "For Bernard Petiot, in memory of a ancient writer, Colette, to whom young visitors are sympathetic".
