Contemporary half midnight blue shagreen binding with corners. Smooth spine decorated with romantic elongated ornaments. Ornaments and fillets on boards and corners. Very fine marbled paper. Green moiré endpapers. Slight traces of fading, without consequence. Some scattered foxing, but on white paper (despite some browned gatherings in the first volume).
Very handsome copy, solidly bound.
