Half red shagreen binding, smooth spine decorated with quadruple gilt and blind cartouches enhanced with gilt romantic arabesques, framed with a gilt cartouche on red paper boards enriched in corners with gilt typographical motifs, endpapers and pastedowns of turquoise watered silk, contemporary binding.
A handsome copy almost entirely free of foxing.
