First separate edition illustrated with 13 color engravings by Charles Léandre engraved by Decisy including a frontispiece, a title vignette and 11 in-text compositions. Copy enhanced with one of the ten suites in black of all the engravings and a facsimile drawing. Limited edition of 125 copies on vellum d'Arches. One of the copies reserved for honorary members 101 to 106, No. 95 for Louis Meley. Covers and spine preserved. Volume published under the direction of Baroness de Berckeim. Full wine-red long-grain morocco binding signed Noulhac (at bottom of front pastedown). Spine with 4 raised bands richly decorated with mirror tooling and roll tools on the bands. Boards decorated with a wide border with large tools in the corners. Wide interior fillets and tooling. Dark green silk endpapers. Spine uniformly faded. On the lower board, losses to gilding. The gathering forming the suite protruding. Numerous offsets from the engravings on surrounding pages creating browned areas. On the first endpaper, handwritten gift inscription in blue pen across the entire page with the year 1963. Engraved bookplate of Louis Meley, patron and art collector.
