Contemporary half red sheepskin bindin, gilt decorations to spine, gilt initials to foot of spine ,red covers, ex-libris glued to a pastedown, two corners bent.
Some small foxing, some traces of rubbing.
The first work by Poe translated by Baudelaire, with its preface entitled Sa vie, son oeuvre, destined to establish Charles Baudelaire's name permanently alongside Poe.
