Collected edition with some parts in first edition. Full burgundy morocco binding, spine with five raised bands, gilt date at foot, gilt rolls on headcaps, marbled paper endpapers and pastedowns, gilt dentelle border on pastedowns, gilt fillet on leading edges, covers and sunned spine preserved, top edge gilt, engraved vignette pasted at head of endpaper as bookplate, elegant binding signed and dated 1911 by David. Our copy is enriched with a photographic postcard representing Leconte de Lisle slightly in profile, as well as two autograph poems written on both sides of a leaf mounted on a stub: "La magicienne" and "La quenouille". These two poems are part of the Idylles of Theocritus of which Leconte de Lisle was one of the translators. Handsome copy, perfectly bound, complete with the frontispiece etched by Louis Duveau which is often lacking and greatly enriched with two autograph poems (cf. Clouzot).
