Bound in red half shagreen, back with five nerves, marbled paper boards, wrappers and back preserved and bound in.
Very precious autograph signed by Albert Camus. "At my uncle and my aunt with my true gratitude and affection Albert Camus."
The first edition of the Stranger was pulled to 4400 copies 21 April 1942 and divided into eight "editions" fictitious 550 copies.
Copy of a moving and important provenance.
