Half orange morocco binding, spine sunned with five raised bands set with black fillets, brown morocco title label, date and place in olive green morocco, marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, top edge gilt.
Illustrated work, as frontispiece, with a portrait of the author by Félix Bracquemont.
Some foxing affecting mainly the volume at beginning and end.
