Je souhaite seulement que l'ouvriez à la page 241 et qu'ainsi vous sachiez encore un peu mieux ce que signifiait pour nous un avion ami traversant notre ciel captif... M.M. S." ["I do not have the ambition to see you read this diary in its entirety. I only wish that you would open it to page 241 and thus know a little better what it meant for us to see a friendly aircraft crossing our captive sky... M.M. S."]
