Autograph song in octosyllables dated and signed by Maurice Mac-Nab entitled "Le banquet des maires", 58 lines in black ink on three leaves.
Maurice Mac-Nab, poet and hydropath songwriter (he wrote a thesis on hangovers), performed notably at the famous Montmartre cabaret Chat Noir where he recited "advertising songs".

Enfant gâté de mon canton
Depuis quartorze ans je suis maire
Bien que je me flatte, dit-on,
D'être un peu réactionnaire
Un beau matin monsieur Floquet
Me dépêche une circulaire :
Il me convie au grand banquet
Que nous offre le Ministère (bis)
"Je t'en prie, Hector, n'y va pas,
Me disait en pleurant ma femme,
Ils ont inventé ce repas,
Pour se faire de la réclame ! "
Mais je lui répondis : "Tais-toi,
Joséphine, c'est mon affaire.

Les pompiers viennent à leur tour
M'accompagner jusqu'à la gare.
Mille gamins poussent des cris :
