Oeuvres complettes, publiées par M. Rigoley de Juvigny

The most complete collective edition of Alexis Piron's works, edited by Rigoley de Juvigny. Portrait of the author at the beginning of the first volume, engraved by Augustin de Saint-Aubin after Caffieri. As very often, the eighth volume (being the Œuvres badines) is not present. A well-margined copy.
Contemporary green morocco. Spine richly gilt with dentelles and gilt fleurons, red morocco title and label volumes. Triple gilt fillet frame to covers. Gilt roulette frame to pastedowns. All edges gilt.
Spines lightly and uniformly sunned, a few scratches. Occasional light spotting, but otherwise a very good copy.
