Contemporary bindings in full blonde mottled calf, smooth spines decorated with gilt fillets, roulettes and fleurons as well as red morocco title and volume labels, black morocco inlay on the volume labels, red and green morocco bands at head and foot, fine gilt roulette framing the boards, gilt roulette on the edges and headcaps, gilt roulette framing the pastedowns and paste paper endpapers, all edges gilt.
Wormhole damage at the foot of the joint of the second board of the first volume; small wormhole at the foot of the joint of the first board of the sixth volume.
