The places of publication and publishers are obviously fictitious. Contemporary full calf binding. Smooth ornate spine. Red morocco title label. Head cap partially worn. 2 lacks to lower joint, 2 corners slightly bumped. Collection of three satirical pieces against Jansenism. The Jesuits contributed to the distribution of these pieces, the first of which stages a Jansenist Tartuffe and enjoyed great success. The third piece is a dialogue between a Catholic doctor and a Jansenist.
