Le violon de faïence is a novel by Champfleury featuring two collectors of rare ceramics, one of whom is a violinist. La légende du violon de faïence, by the illustrator of Le Violon de Faïence, evokes the life of Champfleury who had just died and old Rouen. Adeline recounts anecdotes about the creation of the novel.
