Work illustrated with 16 hors-texte plates including the frontispiece (the folding plate placed between pages 258 and 259 with a marginal tear restored with an adhesive piece).
Autograph inscription signed by Gabriel Legué to his friend Doctor Fiaux; the latter having added below a new autograph inscription which he signed as a gift for Madame Marcelle Médard-Rouville.
