New edition, the very first edition having appeared in 1530. Printer's device on title page. Two other different parts, with continuous pagination, with two respective title pages: Meditationes graecanicae in artem grammaticam (p.273) and In Clenardi et ante signani grammaticam anno MDLXXXX ex officina Wecheliana editam. Contemporary full vellum binding. Smooth spine with blind fillets. Blind frames on boards with a central fleuron and corner fleurons. The work is completely detached from the binding. The first cover is largely detached from its board. First gathering loose, held only by one stitch. Paper entirely browned. Famous work which enjoyed immense popular success of this Greek grammar by the philologist Nicolas Clénard, whose master was Henri Estienne.
