Spine with 5 raised bands richly decorated with 2 blind stamps, 2 grotesque compartments composed of monastic tools, head and tail roll tools. Boards stamped in blind with central lozenge containing ornamental composition, blind border frieze. Gilt roll on leading edges, internal frieze. Marbled edges matching the endpaper pattern. Spine darkened to brown. Discoloration traces on upper board of volume 3. Brown stain on lower board of volume 3. Lightly scratched area on lower board of volume 1. Very handsome copy.
