Red publisher's Bradel binding, upper cover with color illustration laid down and bordered with a number of gilt and blindruled frames, large typographic motif blindstamped to lower cover and several frames as on upper cover, covers bevelled, original blue endpapers and pastedowns.
Lower joint of upper cover with 1cm split, leading to marginal tearing to a few leaves, not serious.
We have found only one copy of this album at the Bibliothèque de l'Heure Joyeuse à Paris, France's specialist library of children's books.
