Half mint green shagreen binding, spine slightly faded with four raised bands set with gilt dots decorated with fleurons and double gilt and black fillets, marbled paper boards, front cover with marginal discoloration mark along its full height, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, minor harmless scuffs to corners and edges.
Work illustrated with a portrait of Mathilde de Toscane as frontispiece.
