Half bottle-green shagreen binding with corners, smooth spine decorated with mosaic triangular shagreen pieces in red, green and orange, spine faded to brown, gilt-ruled frame on marbled paper boards, marbled paper endpapers and pastedowns, original wrappers and spine preserved, top edge gilt, binding signed Pierre-Lucien Martin.
Work illustrated with drawings in the text by Charles Huard.
Our copy is exceptionally enhanced with two original signed drawings by Charles Huard which he heightened with watercolor. These two drawings represent an elderly man standing and walking through Paris.
