Edition first state without mention Binders half Havana sheepskin, back with four nerves crimped gilded nets, as pieces of black sheepskin, marbled paper plates, guards and contreplats of handmade paper, sprinkled edges, bindings of the time. Precious autograph signed by Gustave Flaubert: "To my friend Cheron (with good tomorrow -CIS- handle) G. Flaubert." Lawyer and French journalist Alexandre Guyard Saint-Cheron was Saint-Simonian, an ardent supporter of the Count of Chambord and creator of "The Paris Letter" real newspaper of the Legitimist party. Some foxing the beginning and end of the volume, a foot restoration of the first flat of the second volume. Precious copy enriched with a rare autograph signed by Gustave Flaubert.
