First edition, rare. Contemporary full vellum binding. Smooth unlettered spine. Top headcap torn. Lack to lower edge of back board. Two princes disguised as bourgeois make the journey on horseback to the very famous fair of Guibray, in Normandy. Their journey, recounted by their squire, is a succession of chance encounters. The narrator gives an ample description of the Guibray fair while continuing the gallant and comic adventures of the two princes.
