    Illustrations. Three light, minor snags at the top of the spine, tiny marginal tears without pieces missing at the top of the first board, otherwise pleasant copy.

    In 1906, Pankiewicz was appointed professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Notably, one of his pupils was Moïse Kisling whom he encouraged to abandon sculpture in favor of painting.
