Exceptionally rare original albumen print photograph, in visiting card format, mounted on card, showing Ivan Tourgueniev. We have only been able to find one single copy of this photograph in the Hulton Archive collection.
Edition original sur papier courant. spine légèrement insolé, une petite tache sur le premier plat. Envoi autographe daté et signé de Pierre Morhange à son ami le poète Charles Dobzynski se terminant en vers : "Que voulez-vous la ville était cernée / Que voulez-vous nous nous sommes aimés."

Precious handwritten presentation signed by Pierre Drieu La Rochelle: “à Roland Dorgelès qui connait la question. Drieu La Rochelle.” “To Roland Dorgelès who has knowledge of the matter. Drieu La Rochelle.” A story of a WWI French soldier given to a WWI French soldier by a WWI French soldier. A beautiful copy, pleasantly set.

s. n. | Paris Monday 13 October [1947] | 13.5 x 21 cm | one leaf Handwritten letter dated 31 March 1956 and signed Albert Camus, written on 26 lines in black ink, addressed to the then suffering Vivette Perret and in which he evokes the completion of his adaptation of Faulkner's Requiem for a Nun which he plans to rename “Le cri”. Beautiful state despite one sign of a fold due to having been placed in an envelope.
First edition, one of 20 numbered copies on Holland, only large papers after 10 Japan. Binding in half red morocco, spine in five compartments set with blind tooled fillets, gilt date at the foot, marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers, wrappers (a tiny piece missing from the margin of the second board) and spine preserved, top edge gilt, binding signed Patrice Goy. Beautiful copy pleasantly set.
