New edition of this fictional voyage which was highly successful and saw numerous editions. Half brown sheep binding, spine with four false raised bands decorated with triple blind-stamped compartments and gilt fillets, double gilt fillets on marbled paper boards, minor traces of rubbing to joints without significance, corners slightly bumped, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, speckled edges, contemporary binding. Work illustrated with 3 frontispiece engravings and complete with its folding map of Antenor's voyages at the end of the first volume. Some foxing.
